About GSMS:

Our Campus Mission Statement:
"We believe our students at GSMS will achieve GREATNESS and CHANGE THE WORLD. This will be done through the gift of teaching to inspire our students to discover and develop their talents. We encourage community support throughout their educational journey."

Tutorials are available every day at 7:45am - 8:00am and Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

Library books Every student is expected to check out a library book. In order to encourage reading fluency, upon arrival to the gym in the morning, students will read until tutorials begin. Students should be reading at home at least 10 minutes per/night. We also encourage students to record books they read to go toward the "40 Book Challenge"!

Student Leadership:
Our Student Led Conferences (SLC) went extremely well! We would like to thank all of our parents for their continued support and for making every effort to attend SLC. Next year we will do them again. All students that were absent and/or not able to successfully complete their SLC this year will have a rescheduled date later in the year after STAAR.

Our amazing students did community service at the city ballpark. We believe that serving the community is a vital part of learning leadership. The students and faculty worked very hard for two days to give a fresh look to the facility.

Welcome to Grand Saline Middle School! Selfie.jpg
The excitement for the 2017-2018 school year is evident at GSMS! As principal, I would like to outline our way of doing things. At GSMS our motto is, "Loving, Learning, and preparing Leaders for tomorrow!"  It is a great privilege to educate your children and help them to achieve their best in all that they do. I invite you to join us as we make this the best year yet!
